Super Rack Performer fails to initialize

Macbook Pro M3 running Sonoma .It has been since Oct that I have opened Performer and now it will not open just get the error. I am prepping for a tour and while I use a dedicated a Super Rack system that the Sound Co provides I use Performer as a backup plan and to also work on other things. I have followed all the troubleshooting on the Waves tech side. Went so far as to a reinstall etc. No luck. I have tour prep this week and then the run starts Tuesday.

Hey @steveweiss99,

Welcome to the Waves Forum.

A Live Sound representative should reach out soon over email to assist further.

In the meantime, you can try following the troubleshooting steps in this article which should solve the issue.

I got this solved thanks to a link on a Reddit Here was the solution.

Please follow these steps to uninstall and reinstall the SoundGrid Driver which should fix this issue (Especially step 10):

Close Waves Central and any other audio application.

Go to Applications > Waves > SoundGrid > Utilities. Run the SoundGrid Driver Unsinstaller app.

Restart the computer.

Launch Waves Central and log in.

Go to the Install Products page > All Products tab. Search for SoundGrid v14 ASIO / Core Audio Rec/PB Driver, and checkmark it.

Click Install.

Restart the computer.

This is the important part—-

Verify the following permissions: Click on the Apple Logo > System Settings Go to General > Login Items Allow “Waves Inc.” if already allowed turn it off and on again and restart the Mac.
