Pro Tools does not have real MPE support, yes (which btw is a shame…). But there is a workaround, if you set up multiple MIDI Tracks and route them to the Instrument. Roli has a good discription to this procedure.

But that does not work with StudioVerse Instruments AAX, it seems.

Please add the Multichannel MPE support to StudioVerse Instruments in AAX. Would be the perfect way to use MPE-ready VSTs in Pro Tools (like Equator2 from Roli).

MPE seems to be the future in midi. I’m thinking this should be adopted everywhere…

Despite the fact I don’t have controller that can exploit it. I looked into it before I got my new(ish) controller, everything was priced out of my range. May end up compromising and getting a Touché at some point.
