NS1 Noise Supressor vs Clarity Vx

Hi, everyone.

(I’m not a native speaker, so sorry for the mistakes)

My name is André, new to the forum, and a teacher who produces video content and is trying to achieve a better overall audio quality.

I watched the Content Creator Audio Toolkit tutorial by Mark Russell and it seems to be a pretty good solution for my issues, but I have a question about the very start of the processing chan. These are the plugins that come in the Toolkit (in order):

NS1 Noise Supressor
Greg Wells VoiceCentric
Playlist Rider (which I’d replace with Vocal Rider)
WLM Plus Loudness Meter

Considering that my issue with noise reduction has to do not only with fix noises like fan or air conditioner hum (which of course I have here) but specially with unpredictable, variable noise that comes from children playing around (I live on the sixth floor of a building and down there there is a pool and a playground, and children playing around from 10am to 10pm every day), my question is:
**
In this particular case, which plugin would properly handle the problem: NS1 Noise Supressor or Clarity Vx (or maybe another one that I don’t know) and why?**

Thanks a lot.

Best Wishes.

That’s a harder thing to fix, both because of its variable nature, but also because of kids or crowd voices. Usually, Clarity VX (Live) would be the way to go, but the voice element may make it harder for the plugin to discern the difference.

It’s still your best bet, but you might want to consider recording after hours, or while the kids in class. You also might need to use something like iZotope RX for a bit of manual clean up.
