Lv1c is laggy on version 17

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this issue with LV1 Version 17: when switching between channels, the LV1 freezes for about 2 seconds (both screens freeze), but the audio continues without any interruption.

It’s purely a visual freeze, but it’s pretty scary when it happens during a show.

At first, I thought it was just a one-off glitch, but it turns out it’s happening at every show.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yeah I had the same, currently on tour so a solution would be helpful I’m gonna contact support to

I’m not on a Classic but I was having the same issue with my modular rig and the solution for me was to uninstall all Waves plugins and apps through waves central, delete everything in the waves directory except for my impulse responses, restart, then reinstall everything via Waves Central.

If I do this, do I need to have it connected to the internet, or isn’t that necessary?
Because at hotels I’m not in the position to get a wired internet connection

Generally yes. You can build an offline installer from another computer but unfortunately at some point you would need an internet connection to download everything if you don’t already have one on standby.
