Freezing LV1 Classic

I would like to ask if this is only happening with my mix or if more people have it. I have had this mix for a short time and have already experienced software freezing twice. Just yesterday I could only switch to the “SHOW” , ‘PATCH’ and “SETUP” screens unfortunately mixer1 and mixer2 could not be switched. Occasionally the system freezes when loading user presets.

The IR import in the IR Live plugin also has strange behaviour, where all faders start moving.

MY keyboard froze on the bottom of the LCD screen and I had to reboot my mixer because i couldn’t see half the screen.. i just had the mixer few weeks ago and have been working on it at home before we hook it up at church and already had two freezes in one week..

It’s important to note that the thread appears to be addressing two separate issues. If the on-screen keyboard is stuck open and won’t close, click the keyboard icon in the top right corner of the mixer interface to terminate it. This is a known Microsoft bug.

This is also mentioned in our eMotion LV1 Classic Support Notes page.

I’ve also got this issue and occurs every other month or so with weekly usage. Only option seems to restart LV1, which is inconvenient in the middle of an event.

FIT controller continues to work. Show, Patch and Setup pages work without issue.

I wish LV1 had a “restart UI” option that didn’t impact all the processing.

What are the recommended logs to grab?

Do note that LV1 Classic has a restart button that will restart only the console computer, but WILL NOT restart the I/O or Server, meaning processing WON’T stop.

In a modular setup this can be simply achieved by ‘killing’ the LV1 process or restarting the computer.

Has this issue been resolved? have there been any other similar issues with LV1 Classic crashing/freezing?

I was very interested to buy the LV Classic this month but it’s really concerning that I’m seeing lots of reports of the system crashing - if it’s not a safe console to use I will have to look at other options
