LV1 Rack Brain for Mobile Configuration & Control

This is a new product request for an LV1 rack brain. Think LV1 Classic but with no physical faders and no monitor. This should be a 1RU form factor that replaces the Axis Scope for modular setups and is booted to connect to a router which also has WiFi so that a tablet can connect to it. Then a tablet is used to configure and setup the LV1 system as well as then use mixmirror, myFOH, etc to control the system. Typical system rack configuration would be:

  1. Rack Brain 1RU
  2. WiFi Router for control 1RU
  3. Network switch for Soundgrid network audio 1RU
  4. Soundgrid Server 2RU
  5. Stagebox (Ionic, etc) 2-3RU

I’d definitely shell out for this. It would also be great to include some internal processing capabilities to eliminate the need for an additional SoundGrid server unless you really need the extra horsepower. Much like the LV1 Classic includes the equivalent of an Extreme Server.

A streamlined way to mix headless (ideally from an iPad) on the LV1 with the option of adding a surface for scenarios that require one would be extremely flexible.
