Help with Super Rack Live Box and mixer with analog inputs

Hello everyone,

I’m thinking about buying the Waves Super Rack Live Box (Dante version) to include it in my setup, but before I make such an investment of money I need your help.

I normally use an Allen & Heath SQ6 for shows, which already has a Dante card included, which would be useful for routing with the Super Rack software in the Live Box.

The question is, with the company I work for we always use analog cabling to connect microphones and everything else necessary, logically connected directly to the analog inputs of the mixer, normally XLR.

My questions are, using analog inputs, is this compatible with the Live Box or do you have to use Dante instead of analog cabling (which I honestly don’t think my company would want to do).

If it is compatible, could someone tell me how to do the routing in Live Rack?
I am new in this field and I would appreciate help before investing such a large amount of money.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hey @carlos.barrajon.external,

Welcome to the Waves Forum.

While the definitive answer lies with the console manufacturer, it’s generally true that once microphone inputs are processed by the console, you can utilize the Dante expansion to send and return those signals.
