CR8 - Run Out of Loop on Release is Missing

Hi Support,

is there a way to set an option “run out of loop on release” in the CR8 sampler?

I actually find the CR8 sampler brilliant when you want to quickly use a sample, especially the intuitive assignment of aftertouch and velocity.

The only thing I constantly miss, and why I always have to switch to other sample players, is that when I release the key, I can’t play the rest of the sample outside of the loop. That means, when I release my keys it still runs within the loop section for the whole release time. I want to stop the loop and play the rest of the sample when I release a note.

Do I miss something or can you please give me a simple option for that?

I believe it doesnt have this feature, but should!! It’s actually a pretty standard feature for most samplers, hard to believe they overlooked it.

Indeed, a small thing that is missing, but it really often makes it unusable.

You wouldn’t be the first person to bring it up. If there are enough voices requesting this hopefully they will add it. So if you know anyone, encourage them to “make some noise”
