I’m interested in Waves IR-1 as a possible alternative to Altiverb et. al. I can’t seem to find any info on what spaces (at least what kind of spaces) are in the impulse file library that one can download. I do mostly sound design for radio etc, and what I want and need it primarily “real” spaces like houses, real rooms, cars, closets, coffins, you name it. Real-life spaces of all kinds. Not Sydney opera house etc. I know I can make my own impulse responses but that is not really feasible in this case. I want a good basic setup of sampled spaces to use from the get-go. Can anyone point me in the direction of a list or something, where I can see the types of spaces in the IR-1 impulse library? Thanks

I’ve found lots of good IR’s at MoReVox dot com (too new to include the link apparently…)
They have the kind of stuff you’re looking for: living room, bathroom, mini-van are in some of their packs.

They can be loaded into IR-1 using Import Impulse Response from File. I think they have a free batch you can download if you dig around a little.
