I am working on several Audio for video projects where an individual clip can be much longer than the 12 minute upload limit. I am very disappointed with the tech support answer I got, a very curt “sorry there is no option for longer songs”. Also upon reading thru forums it appears that the request for control of the segment that is in the preview is falling on deaf ears. Apparently this has been requested for months if not years. Come on folks, to even the most casual observer it is obvious that this is not just a “nice to have”, it is absolutely REQUIRED.
- Export in shorter chunks if possible (not ideal, but a temp workaround).
- Mention your use case directly in the feature request section—Waves staff does monitor that.
- Try mastering locally for long-form content and only use Waves for final polish.

Their online mastering seems to be something that periodically gets updated and evolves. I wouldn’t entirely rule them fixing the song length issue, but you might be waiting a while if they do fix it.
So why is it so long anyway… is it jazz, classical…. a mega long dance remix??

Oh!! Yeah I can understand why thats an issue now. Clearly they didn’t think of this eventuality. You can also try leaving feedback on their website too. Perhaps that may help.
