Version 2.0

What’s New

:electric_plug: Works with any platform — One app for dependable multitrack recording whether you’re running LV1 or a non-Waves Core Audio/ASIO rig.

:high_voltage: One-click LV1 sync — Connect and hit Sync to instantly import your LV1’s routed channels: track names, patching, mono/stereo assignments, and channel colors.

:label: Automatic scene markers — Every LV1 scene change drops a timeline marker automatically, so the recording is already organized before the show ends.

:headphone: Truer virtual soundcheck — Playback follows LV1 scene recalls, so soundcheck feels just like the original performance.

:level_slider: Up to 128 channels, native everywhere — Record the biggest stage plots natively on Mac (Apple Silicon included) and Windows, then export the whole session as a DAWproject file for the DAW of your choice.

How’s Tracks Live 2.0 working for you so far?

Hi Adi,

works great, even with high channel count, and also in parallel with other daws on the same pc, very cpu friendly.

Sometimes playback jumps to the beginning if you start playback somewhere in the timeline, sometimes playing loops when not activated.

If I use Export dawproject, open it in cubase, because the markers are only timeline markers then, I cannot use them again to trigger scene snapshots in LV1 from Cubase via midi.

Sync with LV1 is very very helpful, you can config a record from scratch very fast. Now it is not necessary to prepare a record session with routing etc. You could be ready to record from starting the software, sync with LV1, start record in under a minute, if you have prepared routing in your LV1 session. And you can configure up to 1 minute recording starts before you hit record. That’s great!

Kind regards

Michael

Wait, you can? This is like the greatest feature and none of the promotional material mentions it at all! Guess I’m giving this a real try now.

(Also, thanks Waves for adding a free license for LV1C owners!)
