I did a bit of research and discovered Waves uses Oratory1990’s headphone corrections for Waves Nx. They’re licensed through Lewitt-Audio, the company Oratory1990 works for.
This is good – Oratory1990 is considered by many to be the best headphone calibrator in the industry, with regard to matching headphones to the Harman target.
However, Waves Nx headphone correction set is old! Since Nx’s release, Oratory1990 has released many new headphone corrections, including for the incredible Sennheiser HD620s and many others.
Please update your licensed Nx headphone corrections. Hopefully your licensing agreement includes future updates, at which case you just need to add them.
Alternatively you could put in a 10 band EQ that is Oratory1990 compatible like one of your competitors did – but that would be a bigger feature request.
I would be happy just to get the updated Oratory1990 models into Nx, and that’s not a huge request.
