A representative for UAD wrote that in LUNA they simulate the op-amps for the analog summing circuits (even without the extra Neve and API extensions it seems). Waves NLS as I understand it only saturates/processes the individual signals while the actual summing is still ordinary linear summing. It would be nice to have a plugin that emulates analog summing the way it’s done in LUNA. Or is NLS already doing the analog summing emulation the same way as it’s done in LUNA?

It would be nice. Though I think what is happening in this case has alot to do with currents and impedances, designed to behave the same ways as these old school devices and how they interact with the incoming signal.
If this is true then it may just be impossible to replicate this without some form of hardware… But Waves makes hardware too, so it certainly wouldn’t be out of the question.
