I was wondering today whether I could make a click channel on my LV1C that follows the tap (i.e. not a recording), for use in monitors or room testing.
It’d be great if the EMO Generator supported timed output (or if One Knob Pumper was available… no idea where that one’s gone), but without those I had to get creative.
After an hour of playing about, I’m pretty happy with using a sine wave into MultiMod Rack followed by a gate. The sequencer mode in MMR can be used to control the output level of basically any of the plugins (seemed cleanest on the Screamer, ironically), and if you set the timing to 1/16 then you can get a decent length click. Turn the gain up on the plugin and you even get a nice range of sounds.
Anyone else come up with anything like this? Any better ideas?
