It is possible in the main rack, but not within a parallel one.

Yeah, I agree this would be a useful feature to add. Although, I’m a bit concerned about any “latency penalties” just to make sure everything phase aligns correctly.

But wasn’t that possible before? I don’t remember.

External sidechains, but I’m pretty sure internal sidechains were never implemented. I remember requesting it a year or two back myself.
