*** SOLVED **** GEQ on fader in LV1 V17 doesn't work on modular/FIT

Can someone verify, if showing the GEQ on faders - as it is introduced as new feature in V17 LV1 - doesn’t work on a LV1 modular with FIT controller?

I see the new “Faders” button in GEQ and it turns blue if switched on and black if switched of, but it’s not reflected on the FIT.

Does FIT maybe need a firmware-update?

Same situation i first thought with my lv1 classic.

But you have to Switch the Encoders to edit Mode, then it works!

With some friendly hint from another user (thank you Michael):

Be sure in System Inventory the “Knob Mode” of FIT (or Classic Surface) is set to “Pan / Gain / Plugins”.

Then, when opening a GEQ, the Encoders must be set to “Plugin” (Encoder knob right is lid orange) and in the opened GEQ the Faders Button on top is pressed (lid blue), then the faders change to GEQ!

Because I never used the Encoder Edit mode for Plugins, it was deactivated therefore GEQ on faders couldn’t work.

Now we just need to figure out how to reliably switch the fader range (bottom half/top half of the GEQ) :smiley:

It seemed like tapping a fader would move it, sometimes, and then sometimes moving the faders would randomly shift the range up or down. I couldn’t figure it out.

Hi,

my solution on that is at the moment (because the GEQ has no button to toggle between high and low band):

Tap on a fader in the GEQ Plugin for high or low band and the console faders change operation at the same time to high or low band.
