You need to let us buy credits to use when we want, not force us into a subscription if that doesn’t meet our needs, and Bonuses for Complete Access subscribers. This kind of product only succeeds if it is convenient and meets the needs of its users.

Man its kind of a pity you can’t do more musical based prompts with it, but hey, if you are specific with your musical ideas it would be much faster to create it how you would normally than to try and describe it with lots and lots of precise words.

So can I “BUY” this, and use it, without having to repeatedly pay for credits?
I Actively HATE that model and its prohibitive to me experimenting if i’m charged all the time, and if I make something, I want to keep it, not decide whether to use credits to save it or something (if that’s the answer).

I asked the same question a few weeks back as I also had pretty much the same point to make. The response was more or less “they would charge less, or do it free if they could, but it’s a rather costly process to run on the server.” Paraphrasing here.

So it effectively works out that we aren’t so much as paying for the sample, but we are paying for the server time which we can’t get around. Not at this early stage in the AI game anyway.

That ultimately doesn’t answer the question though, i’m asking to not have it on the server - to download it and run it on my pc (as a server if necessary). It’s only on the server to keep it in house, and to enable this model of charging… if they sold it to me, I wouldn’t need access to their server… You can’t get around server time? A servers just a larger storage device, i’ve of 2Tb + 4TB + in my PC, a spare 4TB i’ve not yet got round to putting in, a dock with 2TB, 4TB and 4TB in, an 18TB HD (the rest were SSD) hooked up… and that’s not counting the other 4TB SSD’s that i’m not using etc… I can happing throw a 4TB SSD at it… that’s my server, so now… I don’t need server time, server time isn’t stopping you selling me it… it’s stopping you making it a single cost, but if you sold it as a single cost you wouldn’t need server time?

They would if they could, as they have done with every other plugin. So there must be a strong enough reason why it’s on a server and not installed locally on our systems.

The main reason to make it server-based would most likely be because our systems wouldn’t cut it. Not fast enough, not enough storage, etc. Basically the same reason why any LLM AI doesn’t run on our systems, ChatGPT for example.

Sure you could try to do it. Spend a good chunk of cash on a large enough drive, but then we could be waiting hours for just one request to be processed, let alone follow up requests. So then the whole thing just wouldn’t be worth it.
