Illugen: Allow Full Bar Loops

Dear Waves Team,

I-l-l-u-g-e-n is truly groundbreaking—thank you for all the hard work that went into it.

As impressive as it is, there’s a key enhancement that could elevate it into an essential VST for every studio: the ability to generate full-bar loops.

We understand and appreciate it’s original scope, but if you could allow it to generate a full bar based on key, BPM, and a descriptive prompt, it would be invaluable. While stitching together micro loops is possible, it often lacks continuity and cohesion.

This single improvement would greatly expand it’s creative potential.

I just asked for a 4 bar loop and got 2 bars instead, but at least that is possible. You just have to make sure you have the “Loop” option selected of course.

Apparently Illugen works better if you give it abstract suggestions rather than something using musical terms. But I agree that it would be an improvement if it could interpret musical directions alot better. Hopefully they will add support for that some time soon.
