I have tons of Waves plugins on my studio computer, but there are times I would like to be able to use my iLok Waves authorizations on my laptop instead. How can I do this? ---

Hi There @jonothon77, Your Waves licenses are not on an iLok (unless they are really old - V8 or below), they are either activate to your studio computer or on a USB flash drive connected to it. It is very simple to transfer licenses - here are instructions: [https://www.waves.com/support/move-licenses](https://www.waves.com/support/move-licenses). If you do not have physical access to the workplace computer, you can also **recover your Waves licenses** and reactivate them at home, following [these instructions] ([https://www.waves.com/support/reactivate-recover-licenses](https://www.waves.com/support/reactivate-recover-licenses)). If you experience difficulties, please [contact Tech Support](https://www.waves.com/contact-us). _Also important to know in case you recover a license: Once you return to e.g. your workplace computer, log into Waves Central and the license recovery period (1 year) will be automatically reset._
