# Touch support Mac

Hello,

Im want to use a macbook pro with an external touchdisplay.  
I have the problem when im clicking on the rack to insert a plugin the dropdownmenue disaperys when im clicking on “plugin list”  
but when im klicking on the Rack and then on Rack 1-32 it works fine an the dropdownmenue does not disapear.

I know that its an popular problem wit apple and Superrack, but when its gonna be fixed, or does have anybody an other idea to solve the problem?

Welcome to the Waves Forum 🙂

As shown on [**SuperRack – Support Notes**](https://www.waves.com/support/superrack-support-notes):

“_On Mac systems with touchscreens, it is not possible to select a plugin or assign an input using single-touch, only using a mouse_”.

We are working on a fix for this, however, I don’t have an ETA.

How can this still be a problem 4 years later
