S1 Imager: Positive gain adjustment

Hello!

A great addition to the S1 Imager would be if the gain fader allowed positive adjustments, at least a few dBs.

Alternatively, a +/- output trim parameter addition could work.

In other words, I’d like to be able to to boost gain within S1 Imager, instead of just being able to attenuate.

Why?

I use S1 Imager to control width of program material, and I automate the width parameter a lot. In some cases, I like to automate a little gain boost while widening the material as well. This would be super handy to do within S1. Instead, currenlty I need to insert some utility plugin before or after S1 to get the desired effect.

Let me know if this makes sense! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: :+1:

Thank you!

I also felt it a bit odd that you couldn’t adjust the Gain positively.

Often you do need to adjust the gain positively when spreading the width to make up for any perceptual level loss. Plus it could make of a handy Trim control without the need for a second plugin.
