# How to use Wave for the first time?

I have just invested in Waves 13.1.4 and intend to use it with Audacity 3.1.3 for reading/voiceover and narration work.

I found the file and downloaded it on my Windows 10 Home version on my Asus laptop.

I do not know how to place it on Audacity to use the noise suppression functionality. CAn anyone help? Thank you

Welcome to the Waves Forum.

Audacity is not supported by Waves,  
That being said we do support a wide variety of DAWs, you can find the [full list here.](https://www.waves.com/support/tech-specs/supported-hosts)  
The NS1 should work in any one of the mentioned hosts, in case it does not we will be able to assist you within a host environment we qualified.
