The Waves VU meter is great… but imagine if it had +/-20dB trim (or full range of gain, either way.)

Then you could use that plugin not just to **read** your level, but to **set** your level.

This would be incredibly helpful for use with non-linear Waves plugins that don’t have dedicated input meters or input controls.

I understand there is a cost to new UI… But implementation could be dead simple! Simply dragging up or down on the meter could display the + or - gain in dB (with a single decimal, i.e. +6.8dB ) Simple numerical reading. Nothing fancy needed.

Double-clicking would reset it to zero.

This wouldn’t be an enormously costly addition to the plugin, but it could be very useful. Please consider! 🙂

A small horizontal correlation meter across the bottom would also be a nice touch, but I don’t want to push my luck!! 😳🙃
